Eating Well May Support Healthy Hearing
Although you may know about the importance of diet to your overall health; you may not be aware of the connection between healthy eating and your ability to hear. There are plenty of sources for Zinc: cashews, almonds, peanuts, split peas and lentils, to name just a few. So, with that in mind, we’d like to share a fun, hearing-healthy recipe!
Easy and Delicious Bean Burgers
Beans:2 fifteen-oz. cans (you can use black, white or pinto)
Dried Breadcrumbs:1 cup
Large Eggs:2 or them, beaten lightly
Black Pepper:1 teaspoon, ground coarsely
Garlic Powder:1/2 teaspoon
Any other flavorings you want to add are up to you!
- Drain 1 can of your beans, but be sure to keep the liquid
- Mash your beans in a medium-sized bowl
- Drain your other can of beans and put them in your bowl
- Add your breadcrumbs, eggs, pepper and garlic powder to the bowl
